In september 2016 my portrait of Luis was nominated for the Nationale Portretprijs by the Dutch National Portrait Gallery.
The nomination is based on the portrait and on the consistency and quality of the photographer’s oeuvre.
The jury consisted of Koos Breukel, Rineke Dijkstra, Hedy van Erp, Annaleen Louwes, Philippien Noordam, Robin de Puy and Erik Schilp.
